Matthew Raynard

Matthew Raynard began his career at Travelers Insurance as a Subrogation Specialist. After five years at Travelers, Matt transitioned to underwriting at First Comp Markel, where he wrote workers’ compensation accounts and was promoted twice: first to Strategic Partner Underwriter and then to Senior Strategic Partner Underwriter, helping build First Comp Markel’s Northeast book from a few million to over $12 million in just two years. Later, he moved to AmeriTrust Insurance as a Senior Underwriter before joining Method Insurance.

Born and raised in New England, Raynard earned a degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in 2008. He enjoys time spent outdoors playing golf and exercising, and resides in Swansea, Massachusetts with his wife, Aimee, their toddler, and their Yorkie.
