Margaret Templeton, WCP®️

Margaret is known for identifying employers that will most benefit from MEMIC’s expertise, then working with producers to help them write those accounts. Along with identifying new business opportunities, Margaret’s focus is building strong relationships, and she works hard to deliver renewal proposals that are reasonable and fair to everyone.

Margaret joined The MEMIC Group in 2014 as a Senior Production Underwriter with more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. She is responsible for new and renewal business production and profitability for Eastern New York, including Long Island. Prior to MEMIC, Margaret worked in New York with Acadia Insurance and The Hartford.

Margaret has earned her Workers' Compensation Professional (WCP®) designation from AMCOMP, and is working toward completion of her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation. She graduated from State University of New York at Oswego, with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Marine Studies.
